Towards The Liberation of South Arabia

President Al-Bidh’s Speech on Zinjibar Massacre 23/07/2009

The President ot South Arabia

What is happening in the South, in terms of massacres carried out by the occupation regime, is not acceptable at all, nor is double standard. A human soul is valuable worldwide. It is not right nor fair for the world to be angry and revolt for the killing of one or two individuals in Iran, without drawing their attention to the mass massacres and crimes committed against the people of the South by the occupation regime in Sana’a.

Mr/ Secretary General to the United Nations
Gentlemen / Members of the International Security Council
Mr/ Secretary General of the Arab League Council
Mr/ Secretary General of the OIC
Mr/ Secretary General of the GCC
Distress Call:

Today our people in the South are being subjected to the most heinous crimes and massacres that are committed everyday by the Yemeni occupying forces. Where they are shedding blood and being killed, all over the South, for going out on peaceful demonstrations rejecting the occupation and expressing their desire for their independence.

What is hurting us and the people of the South, is how the free world and its various international institutions (political, humanitarian, and legal) are acting as spectators and witnesses to these massacres, without carrying out their duties and responsibilities, which can help deter the murderous occupation forces, and can put a stop to these crimes on the Southerners.

Today, Thursday morning, the occupation forces committed a heinous crime against humanity in the city of Zanzibar, Abyan Province, where they faced the peaceful protestors with various types of light and heavy weapons, which resulted in the death of dozens of people and the injuries of tens of them.

At the time of writing this appeal, the bodies of those who were murdered by the barbaric regime, are still lying in the various roads and streets of Zanzibar, where they are still trying to collect and gather their bodies and place them in one of the mosques.

The occupation regime in Sana’a is used to falsifying the facts and figures every time it commits such kinds of massacres, that it is starting to get ridiculous.

Dear Gentlemen,
Our political speech that was addressed to yourselves on 07/07/2009 was an appeal to consider the South as a disaster area, where you were meant to bear responsibility towards it and its people. The Southerners are subjected to killings, arrests, trials, salary cuts and even destruction of their homes. The South has turned into a daily war zone as the regime in Sana’a has transferred tens of thousands of its military troops to the South.

We are appealing to you today, in the name of humanity and all the nobleness it represents, and in the name of the human conscience and in the name of all the diving laws, to look at what is happening in the South, with responsibility, and by not accepting double standards, considering that the human soul and life is valued equally worldwide. It is not right, nor fair, for the world to get angry and revolt for the killings of one or 2 individuals in Iran, without drawing their attention to these mass crimes and massacres that are committed against the people of the South by the occupation regime in Sana’a.

And we would like to point out to you in this appeal, that the will of the people of the South will not be defeated by such massacres and crimes, nor will they be stopped by the weak and defeatist attitudes of the international community. They will carry on and march forward with their peaceful struggle until they achieve their independence and restore their country.

President Ali Salem Al-Bidh
