Massacre Update: 16 killed 31 injured with clashes continue

Recent news from Abyan says at least 16 people are killed and more than 30 are injured with the Yemeni occupation forces opened fire on peaceful demonstrators at the city of Zanzibar. Many sources have confirmed that the occupation forces have surrounded the protesters and fired them with pullets. Telephone networks and shut down and reporters are prevented to go into the city and the governorate of Abyan.

 

Some protesters from Dali’a and Shabwah governorates are trying to get into Abyan, and some reporters on say that tensions have increased rapidly at the boarders of Abyan and the city of Zanzibar which might lead to another wave of clashes.
