President of TAJ resigns

Posted by FREE ADEN on July 2, 2009

TAJ’s president, Dr Abdullah Al-Hilmi, resigned on the 28th of June 09 as the 5th anniversary for its establishment approaches this month. The Position has been transferred to his vice president Ambassador Awadh K. Rashed, on a temporary basis, until a new president is elected. Dr. Ahmed resigned due to his ill health, and he felt that he would not be able to be leader that is required of him as a cause of that, he also did not want to be blamed eventually for not being available and not participating as required. The original founders of TAJ are: 1-Dr Abdullah Ahmed Al-Hilmi (President) 2-Ambassador Awadh Karama Rashed (Vice president and Political Secretary of the chamber) 3-Abdo Al-Naqeeb (member of executive committe and Official speaker) 4-Salem Mohammad Al-Jo’ri (Executive member)
